Full job description
An Operations Coordinator vacancy has opened up within a dynamic Operations Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer-facing role and be computer literate.
As a member of this team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer care to both internal and external customers, as well as overseeing the coordination of consignments between shareholder members and to customers.
Key Accountabilities
* Report and present weekly KPI statistics from central IT systems for the network and hub departments.
* Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and internal message board in a polite and professional manner.
* Provide support to all Pallet-Track internal and external customers to ensure all delivery services are met.
* Use internal systems to monitor and manage consignments, ensuring goods are collected and delivered correctly.
* Monitor the coordination of freight between shareholder members.
* Utilise the Amazon portal to book in consignments and report back to stakeholders.
* Arrange and confirm deliveries by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the needs of customers are met.
* Manage relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
* Collate data from stakeholders using internal systems.
* Create and publish reports to demonstrate trends within the business.
* Investigate discrepancies in information and feedback results.
* Data inputting and adjusting.
Skills and Experience Required
* Customer-facing experience is essential.
* A Customer Service background is essential.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Skills in all Microsoft Packages.
* Have a positive, empathetic, and customer-focused approach to work.
* Manage multiple priorities to ensure that Pallet-Track provides a fair and good service to all internal and external customers.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills.
* Effectively handle contacts at all levels within the business, both internally and externally.
* The ability to problem-solve.
* Ability to record information accurately.
* Be able to work as part of a team and also, when necessary, work independently and without supervision to achieve deadlines.
Hours: 40 hours, Monday-Friday, to include the occasional Saturday on a rota basis.
