About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a high-performing school in Bedford. The school is seeking a dynamic educator who is passionate about languages and committed to helping students build confidence and skills in their chosen language(s). This role involves teaching one or more languages, such as French, Spanish, or German, to engage students in cultural understanding and linguistic fluency.
Key Responsibilities
* Teaching: Deliver engaging MFL lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 depending on experience and language expertise.
* Lesson Planning: Develop and implement creative lessons that foster language acquisition, cultural appreciation, and interactive learning.
* Assessment & Progress Tracking: Regularly assess and report on student progress, providing targeted feedback to support their learning journey.
* Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the MFL department to enrich the curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching techniques and resources.
* Student Engagement: Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages enthusiasm for languages and supports student well-being.
About You
We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related discipline. Experience in teaching languages such as French, Spanish, or German at KS3 and KS4 is essential, and experience at KS5 is advantageous. You should bring energy, creativity, and a commitment to helping students achieve fluency and cultural understanding.

* Qualifications: QTS or equivalent, with a degree in a relevant Modern Foreign Language
* Experience: Proven experience teaching MFL at KS3 and KS4 levels, with KS5 experience seen as a plus
