Are you passionate about hands-on engineering and customer service? Mallaghan is recruiting a Service Engineer to manage the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of our industry-leading Ground Support Equipment. You’ll lead key power projects and have the chance to work with a dynamic team, offering technical support and contributing to a safe, efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install & Commission Mallaghan Ground Support Equipment to the highest standards, ensuring all machinery is fully operational and meets client specifications.
* Maintain & Service a wide range of ground support equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and reliably at all times.
* Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues quickly, including diagnosing faults, repairs, and working within warranty guidelines. Report any unresolved warranty issues back to the office.
* Provide Technical & Supervisory Support to colleagues, ensuring that proper guidance is provided and ensuring work is completed to company standards.
* Lead Critical Power Projects, managing on-site teams, and overseeing installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of large projects.
* Ensure Customer Satisfaction by providing professional, timely, and effective communication with clients and keeping them informed about project progress, issues, and resolutions.
* Follow Company Guidelines & Standards by ensuring work is completed in compliance with Mallaghan’s high standards, health and safety regulations, and quality systems (ISO 9001).
* Document All Work in a timely and accurate manner, including time sheets, site reports, staff expense claims, and follow-up work, adhering to company policies.
* Collaborate & Communicate Effectively with management, staff at all levels, and other trades to maintain a seamless operation and ensure positive client outcomes.
* Contribute to a Safe Working Environment by following all health and safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety among your colleagues.
* Train & Develop by attending all required training courses and keeping up to date with product developments and industry standards.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven technical experience (electro-mechanical engineering preferred)
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
* Excellent communication and team collaboration
* Flexibility to travel worldwide and work outside regular hours
* Clean driving license and valid passport
