We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Director to lead our global marketing strategy. This role will be responsible for building brand equity, driving customer acquisition and engagement, and accelerating business growth across key markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in brand management and omnichannel retail strategies within the nursery, baby products, or lifestyle industries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Global Marketing Strategy and structure: Lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive brand and product marketing strategy that aligns with business goals and strengthens brand awareness.
• Customer acquisition and engagement: Identifying and understanding customers, their trends, and key target audiences. Build compelling acquisition strategy and ongoing customer engagement. Be the most recognised, most respected and most trusted nursery brand in every market we operate in.
• Brand Management & Positioning: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints while evolving brand identity to resonate with new and existing customers.
• Multi channel growth (Retail, Trade, Digital) : Collaborate with retail partners and distributors to create impactful trade marketing programs and in-store experiences. Seamless customer experiences….
• Content & Community Engagement: Lead content strategy, PR, and community engagement to foster meaningful relationships with parents and caregivers worldwide.
• Market Research & Consumer Insights: Analyse market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform decision-making and optimize marketing efforts.
• Customer communication and loyalty: In collaboration with the Digital Director, establish strategies to enhance customer relationships, drive sales, and improve loyalty metrics. Think customer first, accelerating a PULL product and marketing strategy, creating demand within our community.
• Budget & Performance Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring ROI-driven investments and tracking KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness.
• Leadership, Cross Functional Collaboration & Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team while fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Expertise in product marketing, digital marketing, brand management, and omnichannel strategies.
• Experience in the baby, nursery, or lifestyle industries is highly preferred but not essential.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and project management abilities.
• Proficiency in marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems.
