We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Blume Finance Solutions team based in Leeds City centre. This permanent role offers hybrid working, you will be expected to work in the office at least 2 days a week. We are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to support our Tax team in delivering high-quality, timely solutions to our Blume Tax customers. You will provide expertise on technical tax and tax accounting matters, including UK Corporate Tax returns, tax provisioning under UK GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP, as well as other specialist projects like Pillar 2. Design, implement, and manage both automated and manual test cases for web applications and APIs. Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing across the front-end (React.js), back-end (C#, Java, Python), and Google Cloud services (including Terraform). Identify, document, and monitor bugs and performance issues, working closely with developers to resolve them. Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test automation frameworks. Collaborate with DevOps and integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines. Execute load testing, security testing, and regression testing to ensure the stability and scalability of our systems. Promote and implement best practices for QA methodologies, tools, and processes within an agile environment. We tend to look for people with: Essential Extensive experience in software testing and test automation. Strong knowledge of end-to-end testing methodologies for web applications. Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright. Experience in testing cloud-based applications, preferably on GCP. Familiarity with REST API testing using tools like Postman. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration testing, including Terraform and GitHub Actions. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote/hybrid team environment. Preferred Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter and Gatling. Familiarity with security testing practices, including OWASP and Burp Suite. Experience with contract testing tools such as Pact. Understanding of containerization and Kubernetes. Experience with mobile application testing for iOS and Android. Knowledge of BDD/TDD frameworks like Cucumber. Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Certified Cloud Practitioner. What’s in it for you?
