This pivotal role supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and guidelines to ensure safety, compliance, and operational excellence. As a Compliance Lead, you will play a critical part in maintaining our high standards of compliance and quality. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and roll out strategies and policies to promote an inclusive approach to mental and physical wellbeing in the workplace • Provide guidance on statutory requirements and the implementation of EMCOR UKs Integrated Management System (IMS) • Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and EMCOR/AWE processes in engineering disciplines • Monitor and support updates to procedures regarding technical legislation changes • Work with EMCOR Authorising Engineers to ensure Safe Systems of Works are compliant and practiced • Assist in implementing SFG 20 for SDH asset maintenance • Provide planning support for Quality, Safety, and Technical audits • Participate in the continued accreditation of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 18001 during BSI audits • Support Training & Competency reporting, ensuring compliance levels are met across the AWE/SDH account • Ensure technical standards are adhered to by Supervisors and appointed persons across the contract Essential Requirements: • NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Building & Civils) – advantageous • HND/HNC in an engineering discipline – advantageous • NEBOSH Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Health and Safety • Lead Auditor-level knowledge of HSQE systems meeting ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 • Strong communication skills, with the ability to approach sensitive subjects with tact and discretion • Knowledge of SFG 20 and experience in Facilities Management & CDM (advantageous) • Experience working within a regulated environment or JSP framework (advantageous) • Proficient in IT (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio) • Ability to obtain Security Clearance (DV minimum) • Full UK driving license Additional Information: This role will occasionally require access to high-security, explosive, Beryllium, and radiological areas ADZN1_UKTJ
