Job Title: Fire Damper / Air Hygiene Engineer.
Location: Enfield, Hertfordshire.

Future Select specialise in recruitment within the Fire Safety / Air Hygiene industry, and we are working closely with a reputable and industry leading provider of LEV / Ventilation services. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking to take on an experienced and hard-working Fire Damper / Air Hygiene Engineer to join their South East team. The successful candidate will have experience carrying out the full range of fire damper services, alongside maintenance of air handling units and kitchen extract & ventilation cleaning on Healthcare, Food & Beverage, Commercial, and Manufacturing sites in line with COSHH / TR19 / BS 9999 guidelines.
Candidates will have good access to London / North London and the surrounding areas: Cheshunt, Harlow, Epping, Enfield, Bishop's Stortford, Saffron Welden, Hartfield, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage, Harpenden, St Albanas, Watford, Enfield, Cheshunt, Borehamwood Luton, Hitchin, Saffron Walden, Bishop's Stortford, Harrow, Wembley, Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Bicester.
Experience & Qualifications:
1. Experience working for an established provider of Fire Damper / Air Hygiene services would be beneficial to the role.
2. Excellent practical knowledge of COSHH / TR19 / BS 9999 guidelines.
3. IT literate, able to produce detailed, site-specific reports.
4. Prioritising work load in line with client and company needs, working to strict deadlines.
5. Good communication skills.
The Role:
1. Attending Healthcare, Food & Beverage, Commercial, and Manufacturing sites to carry out inspections, testing, ducting and remedial work on fire dampers.
2. Carrying out routine maintenance on air handling units (AHUs).
3. Conducting kitchen extract and ventilation cleans.
4. Disinfecting duct work when required.
5. Gathering information from site to produce detailed technical reports, submitting to clients in a timely manner.
6. Ensuring all work is carried out in line with COSHH / TR19 / BS 9999 guidelines.
7. Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical support and advice when required.
