Spire Occupational Health (Spire OH) is looking for an experienced Lead Immunisation Nurse to join our growing team!
As a Lead Immunisation Nurse, you will support the Regional Immunisation Nurse Manager to deliver expert clinical services. Essential Requirements:
* Must be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin.
* Must have Post-registration experience in Immunisations.
* Must be proficient in Phlebotomy.
* Can evidence an up-to-date BLS & anaphylaxis.
* Work Experience within a similar nursing role.
* Access to a car and a valid driving license is essential.
* Must be willing to travel to other client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will support the clinical delivery of the Immunisation services provided to clients in and around Worcester.
* Support the team with Clinical audits, including observational audits.
* Improving and maintaining quality and safety standards and participate in all benchmarking and quality audits within the department such as SEQOHS.
* Excellent delivery of KPIs/targets.
* Support the Recruitment team with colleague resourcing needs.
* Support with colleague training and mentoring.
* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Immunisation issues within the speciality of Occupational Health and ensure this reflects in your own clinical practice.
* Monitor the quality-of-service provision, identifying areas for service and professional development and facilitate implementation.
* To work in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, always maintaining professional standards.
* Support the Regional Immunisation Nurse Manager with additional immunisation business needs.
