The role
We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our wrapping machinery, contributing to the quality of our products while minimising production disruptions. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our Total Productive Maintenance initiative, aimed at maximising production efficiency
Key accountabilities
• Operating high speed wrapping machines and checkweighers.
• Checking codes and completion of daily production documentation.
• Maintenance of hygiene and housekeeping standards and ‘clean as you go’ procedures.
• Maintenance of quality standards procedures.
• Maintenance of Health and Safety standards
Skills & experience
• Experience in operating and maintaining industrial machinery, preferably wrapping machines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to follow hygiene and safety protocols rigorously.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to support and train new team members.
• Familiarity with TPM practices and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
