An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Retail Sales Manager to join Lloyd MINI based in Newcastle.
Salary: £36,000 - £60,000
Hours: 45+ hours per week
Role responsibilities:
* To deliver results and maximise profit in all areas of responsibility.
* To translate business strategy into operational plans for new and used car sales.
* To develop and agree sales plans and budgets, including new cars, used cars and accessories and all related items, to achieve marketing, sales and financial targets.
* To implement effective policies and procedures in order to maximise sales opportunities.
* To inspire, provide leadership and effectively manage staff in order to maximise productivity and meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
* To ensure delivery of excellent customer service within all areas of responsibility.
* To work effectively with all other key personnel within the retailer to establish and implement best practice and ensure our customers receive exceptional customer service.
* To ensure full compliance to FCA guidelines on the selling of financial services products by all relevant staff.
The ideal Retail Sales Manager will hold the following skills and experiences:
* Experience within the motor industry at management level.
* Commercial awareness and financial analysis.
* Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to lead and manage the sales team.
* IT literate with a full UK driving licence.
* Able to assimilate information quickly and provide considered responses.
* Strong work ethic and adaptable to change.
* Attention to detail and maintains good, accurate quality of work.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines to achieve the business needs.
* FCA & SAF approved.
* Able to react positively to organisational and market changes.
