Income Services Assistant - 36.25hrs (12 Month FTC)
RBH own and manage around 13,000 homes within the Borough of Rochdale in Greater Manchester. RBH currently have an exciting opportunity for an Income Services Assistant to join our Income services. You may have previous administrative experience and/or have worked previously within social housing, or you may be looking to get involved in the housing sector for the first time, this position is provisionally for 12 months.
What will you be doing?
* Undertaking a range of administrative duties appropriate to the role.
* Assist Income Services colleagues with the collection of various income streams including returned direct debits, sundry charges including garage rent, former tenant arrears, chargeable repairs, ground rent, garage plots and garden tenancies, service charges and shop rent.
* Completing Universal Credit rent verifications, handling and acting on all incoming Department for Work and Pensions notifications to RBH by the DWP.
* Working closely with other teams and partners to ensure the professional delivery of customer focussed RBH services.
* Meeting agreed performance targets, objectives and service standards.
