We're looking for a passionate and proactive GNFR (Goods Not for Resale) Team Lead to support and develop a high-performing Accounts Payable team. You'll play a key role in ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time, while continuously improving processes and supporting wider finance transformation initiatives. The Role The Purpose of the Role: Key Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Senior and Junior Payables Analysts, ensuring high performance and engagement. Oversee timely and accurate payment processing, including weekly payment runs and month-end close activities. Be the go-to contact for internal teams and suppliers, resolving queries and driving service excellence. Support the Accounts Payable Manager with projects, systems improvements, and holiday cover. Monitor and drive KPIs, ensuring SLA targets are met and audit requirements are delivered. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Ensure compliance with finance policies and support cross-functional collaboration across Procurement, Operations, and Finance. Location: This role is based in Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to our London Hub or to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office The Person Key Requirements: Extensive experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within a retail environment. Strong leadership skills and a passion for people development. Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. A proactive, organised, and detail-driven approach. Currently studying towards an accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
