As a Product Manager, you will be at the heart of our user and business-centric approach, working in multidisciplinary squads alongside other talented and passionate professionals. Your role will involve making informed decisions to deliver business value, embracing a fail-fast mentality, iterating, and continuously improving our services to meet needs of our users. You will leverage your product management and leadership skills, adhering to the Service Manual and Service Standard, to drive our mission forward. You will apply Agile and Lean practices to select the best delivery methods, adapt when things don't work, and encourage experimentation. You will help teams measure and visualise outcomes, promoting reflective practice to improve ways of working. Creating value for money is key; you will estimate item values, compare effort to value, decide when to reuse items, and escalate risks appropriately. You will discuss estimates with stakeholders and analyse investment benefits. Managing product and service delivery through different life cycle phases, you will ensure alignment with service standards and adapt approaches based on new information. You will identify and communicate with important stakeholders, build relationships, and use evidence to explain decisions. You will work to improve stakeholder relationships and reach consensus on opposing views. Using user insights, you'll represent users, advocate for comprehensive research, agree on work priorities, and recommend tools for user insights. You will investigate and validate what adds value, create a prioritised roadmap, manage scope and deadlines, and recommend product management methods. In all of this, you will work openly and share your progress widely.
