We have a range of permanent, full and part-time opportunities for staff nurses to work in our existing inpatient services in Alderley Edge in East Cheshire. Commutable from Manchester and the Peak District, we are situated in the heart of Cheshire with good transport links to neighbouring towns. Our services in Macclesfield and Alderley Edge consist of the following areas:
* Alderley Unit - a male low-secure autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disability ward (Nether Alderley)
* Saddlebridge Recovery Centre - a male 15-bed low-secure mental health ward (Nether Alderley)
* CWP offers a secure services payment allowance to staff working on our low secure units of £1,519 per annum pro rata.
The ward provides a 24-hour service so the successful candidates must be able to work a full range of 12-hour shifts, including night shifts and weekends.
Main duties of the job
You will be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for mental health or learning disability nursing, as well as a desire for ongoing professional development. You will receive excellent training, clinical supervision and appraisal programmes, and there will be opportunities for development. We also offer staff training packages, development and leadership pathways, and a comprehensive preceptorship program for those who are newly-qualified.

* Competitive salary based upon an incremental pay progression scheme
* Annual leave based upon length of NHS service - 35 days on commencement of service, 37 days after 5 years, and 41 days after 10 years (pro rata and inclusive of public holidays)
