Problem? Solved.
You press that launch button, and a new website goes live. But what happens next?
Here at Kubix, we build Shopify websites for brands all over the world. But the journey doesn’t stop there. Just like a physical store, an online store needs regular updates, new stock, and a lick of paint every now and again.
We’re on the hunt for an ambitious and eager Account Manager to join our Projects team to oversee website improvements and spot new opportunities for our Shopify stores. Unlike a marketing AM organising emails or ads, you’ll be website-focused, managing and suggesting the continuous improvement of our existing client stores from fashion to fitness, food, furniture and more.
What makes this role so exciting? You'll be working closely with clients as the ultimate problem solver and miracle maker - helping them make changes to their Shopify store, creating an e-commerce roadmap in line with their business objectives, and spotting opportunities for growth at every turn. This could be a simple website change, or the implementation of new technology such as a loyalty scheme. You might even be looking at the data to see if a small change to their store operations would have a big impact on their bottom line.
It’ll be your job to see what the client may not - to identify areas for improvement that they might not have spotted yet, or to make recommendations for apps and solutions that they would never have found without us.
Of course, you won’t be doing this alone. With a team of developers at your fingertips, you'll be responsible for briefing the development team with relevant tasks, based on client goals. You’ll also have the support of our copywriters, designers and Project Managers who can give you the assistance you need.
If you’re a savvy problem solver with a passion for e-commerce and tech, and love the idea of being the bridge between clients and our team (making a difference to businesses as you do it!), then this is the role for you.
About You
While this is an Account Management role, it's important to note that technical knowledge is certainly required.
You'll be the voice of authority on all things e-commerce when speaking to clients, so we'd expect you to understand Shopify and the ecosystem of technologies that surround the platform.
Interpersonal skills are essential, you'll be expected to liaise with both internal teams and the client to gather requirements and report on progress.
* You feel at home speaking to clients - meetings and calls are a vital part of the role
* You have a passion for e-commerce
* You have experience with the Shopify platform
* You’re motivated, friendly and enthusiastic
* You’re able to provide briefs and work alongside colleagues effortlessly
* You’re good at planning your work - not letting your proactive tasks get sidetracked
Skills / Experience ️
* 2+ years of e-commerce experience (Shopify preferred)
* Sound knowledge of e-commerce principles and strategy
* Experience with managing clients or internal stakeholders
* Ability to project manage and prioritise a dynamic workload
* Able to take initiative and find unique ways to show value to clients
* Experience in a customer facing or communications role would be advantageous
What To Expect
We’re one of the top tier Shopify agencies in the UK - and for good reason. Our clients trust us to deliver beautiful, considered designs in Shopify, and to market them in the most cost-effective manner possible.
But we’re more than just our awards and statuses. We’re a team of close-knit individuals, with a collective whopping 88 years at Kubix. From our breakfast club to our Champions of the Week where we nominate those who have stood out to us during the 9-5, we believe that a happy workforce makes for happy work.
If you think you’d like to step into an office that puts its people first, then we’re excited to hear from you. We Never Stop Growing - Together.
Salary Expectations
* We appreciate that showing a salary indication is helpful for you to know whether it works with your personal circumstances, and it can be extremely frustrating to keep something so important so vague. But honestly? We’re in a position to consider a wide variety of experiences and salary levels for this role, so we’d rather discuss your experience and skills than try to set a salary bracket. If you’re the best person for the role, then we’ll offer a salary that works.
