Your new company
You will be joining a high-profile main contractor working on water schemes in the Shropshire area. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water industry and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Engineer.
Your new role
As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Ensuring project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance
Liaising with subcontractors, site management and suppliers
Maintaining good client relationships at all levels
Monitoring subcontract performance
Ensuring all applications for payment are made on/before the due date
Assisting in the production of contract programmes, monitoring programmes as well as producing progress reports.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
Basic engineering background (electrical and/or mechanical)
Working knowledge of NEC contracts
Knowledge of water treatment processes
CDM and health & safety knowledge.
