As Quality Improvement Lead at Kedleston Group, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking applications from people with a genuine interest in continuously improving quality by working alongside senior school leaders and their respective teams to improve educational outcomes for young people with special educational needs, including autism spectrum conditions and social, emotional and mental health needs.
Applicants will be expected to have worked within a senior educational leadership team, more than likely as either a head or deputy head teacher, either within an independent special school or a mainstream school setting.
Key requirements for the role:
1. A detailed knowledge of the Ofsted educational framework
2. Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
3. An understanding of how to drive forward quality improvement
4. Strong interpersonal skills
5. Ability to synthesise information and relay it back in an easy-to-understand format
6. Confident to challenge
7. A genuine desire to improve quality and standards leading to improved outcomes for children
8. Ability to work on projects and support a number of schools concurrently
The role will support our schools in High Peak, North Warwickshire, Nottingham, Manchester, and Liverpool. The ideal candidate will therefore be based within reasonable travel distance of these settings to allow for regular travel to the schools in their portfolio. The postholder may also be required to travel to visit other settings within the Group and/or to attend training, meetings, and conferences.

About us:
Kedleston Group offers residential schooling, day schools, and children's homes across England. Our schools and homes support children and young people living with social, emotional, and mental health problems (SEMH) and specific learning difficulties, which affect their learning and ability to do everyday things.
