Overview We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join our team. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating a variety of Hurco vertical machining centres, performing 3/5 axis milling operations to produce high-quality components within specified tolerances. Responsibilities Interpret engineering drawings and use precision measuring equipment to ensure components are produced to the required specifications Program, set up, and operate Hurco vertical machining centres Knowledge of Hypermill or Alphacam CAD/CAM Select and set cutting tools, holding fixtures, and machine speeds and feed rates Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and work area Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly work environment Qualifications Previous experience in programming, setting, and operating Hurco vertical machining centres Proficient in 3/5 axis milling operations Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances Strong attention to detail and quality Good understanding of machine tooling and cutting methods Knowledge of G-code programming is an asset Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus Day-to-day As a CNC Miller, you will spend your days programming, setting up, and operating Hurco vertical machining centres to produce precision components. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that parts are manufactured to the required specifications, and you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
