An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Industrial Placement Studentto join our team at Cowick Hall, East Yorkshire for 12 months from August 2025.The successful candidate will work on research and development projects in ourSkin Care Applications group. The role will involve the development of new testmethods to use for the screening of our products into a range of differentareas of skin care as well as data generation and incorporating the productsinto formulations. Duties will involve practical laboratory work and reportwriting. The project work carried out during the placement will be ofsufficient academic complexity to meet the requirements of a universityindustrial placement degree course.
Timelines:
The advert will run until Friday 27th September, or untilsufficient applications have been received (early application is advised).
Successful candidates will be invited to an initial teams interview,followed by an on-site interview at Cowick Hall for those who are successful inthe first round.

Essentials:
7. You should have good laboratory skills and be able to communicate effectively both in reports and verbally
8. You will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and plan your own workload
9. Team work, attention to detail and good problem analysis skills are essential for this role
10. You will have an A Level in Chemistry and be workingtowards a in a Chemistry/Cosmetic Science/Biochemistry or related degree
Desirables:
11. Previous work experience within the chemical industry
