Education Support Worker – Special Educational Needs (SEN) School

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

This specialist education provider supports young people who require an alternative approach to learning due to additional needs such as autism, social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties, or other complex learning challenges. The school offers a highly nurturing environment, focusing on personalised learning, emotional support, and structured interventions to help students develop key life skills and achieve their potential.
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Education Support Worker to assist students in their learning and personal development. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with young people who require additional support in an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide classroom and 1:1 support to students with SEN and SEMH needs.
2. Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities.
3. Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
4. Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to implement personalised education plans.
5. Help maintain a positive and structured learning environment.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience working with young people, particularly those with SEN/SEMH needs.
2. A patient and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
