Test Engineer - Groundbreaking 3D visualisation Edinburgh City Centre Hybrid (3 office days per week)

This is a brand new position within the company, in which you will be the ‘gatekeeper’ for testing, getting under the skin of a unique, one-of-a-kind product, and leading the design of test matrixes, strategies and execution. The position is primarily a manual role in its focus – for somebody excited about trying to pull apart, break and re-make a super cool product. The development team follow agile methodologies under the guidance of a vastly experience Software Project Manager, and highly talented CTO. In this role, you will:
7. Define acceptance criteria for early-stage test plans
8. Carry out exploratory, functional, and end-to-end testing
9. Work closely with development teams
10. Become a ‘subject matter expert’ for the key product
11. Work to identify bugs and carry out bug fixes
12. Some opportunity to work on automated testing (Playwright)
The ideal candidate will:
13. Have experience in a small product tech company/start-up
14. Be adaptable, and able to work to loosely defined requirements
15. Be passionate about innovation and emerging technology
16. Have a product-oriented mindset
17. Be experienced across all areas of manual testing
