Teacher of Design and Technology

The Design and Technology Department at West Hill is committed to the school ethos of Aiming High and delivering a curriculum experience that is ambitious and empowering to both learners and teachers. We encourage every student to develop technical knowledge and a high level of skill in designing, making and evaluating throughout their curriculum.
We are seeking to appoint a committed, reflective and talented Teacher of Design and Technology to work alongside our Head of Department to continue to enrich and grow the experience for our learners. We seek a passionate practitioner who can deliver challenge and support to our students and contribute to the department planning, enrichment and consequently, continue to maintain our healthy KS4 option numbers.
The successful applicant will have experience of teaching GCSE Design and Technology alongside KS3 experience of Technology. Some candidates may have relevant experience in subject-related skills such as CAD or engineering.
