Meraki Talent is working with a long-standing client and well-known name within the Accountancy world in Scotland on the position of Business Advisory Services Partner in the central belt of Scotland. Our client: Our client is synonymous with the accounting world in Scotland, one of the most recognisable names with a rich history embedded within the Scottish market. The firm employs 100 people with several offices across the country with their main business hub being the central belt. The business operates as most other large Chartered Accountants with their service lines split between Audit, Business Advisory Services, Corporate Finance, Tax etc. Over recent years the business has seen tremendous growth across each discipline, with a particular drive and focus on the growth of their Business Advisory function. The Business Advisory department is one of the largest teams in Scotland, operating as a strategic advisory service to clients and outsourced finance function. The role: As a Partner within the Business Advisory function, you will lead a team consisting of trainee accountants through to individuals operating at Director level. The Business Advisory department manages the finances for a large portfolio of clients, typical of the Scottish market in sectors such as professional services, tech, renewables, energy, construction, manufacturing, amongst many others. The work you will do will include shaping the team at all levels, working with and becoming a key member within the leadership group. Provide value add service both internally with the team and external to clients. The firm is keen to onboard a GREAT market facing person, someone that understands the importance of being out in the market networking and growing a business function whilst bringing others within the team along with them on a journey. Experience: The role is open to experienced accounting professionals operating at Director level or above from a background within either Audit or Business Advisory Services.
