The School of Modern Languages and the School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies seek suitably qualified applicants for the position of Network Coordinator & Research Assistant for the German Screen Studies Network (GSSN). The successful applicant will:
1. Provide administrative support for the GSSN’s academic leads, helping plan, promote and deliver Network events and communications.
2. Design and lead a workshop for secondary school educators.
3. Assist with establishing and managing a new peer-reviewed journal devoted to German Screen Studies, contributing their own research.
This position is offered as a 0.3 FTE post (around 11 hours each week) for a fixed-term of 3 years. The position could be extended beyond twelve months subject to funding and performance.
