As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive to join our team and help drive our expansion by building strong client relationships and promoting our industry-leading services.
Job Summary:
As a Business Development Executive at Fastnet, you will be responsible for driving sales across our full range of solutions, including high-performance connectivity, cloud and colocation hosting, internet security, VoIP, backup, and disaster recovery services. You will actively source new leads through phone calls, emails, and networking events, building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to provide tailored solutions that keep businesses connected and secure.
Responsibilities:
* Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth.
* Driving revenue growth through upselling into a base of allocated clients and bringing new clients on board.
* Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives and researching prospective accounts in target markets.
* Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle.
* Developing a network of contacts to attract new clients.
* Making sales projections and forecasting revenue and profit.
* Meeting clients and prospects via telephone, Microsoft Teams and face-to-face meetings.
* Developing and nurturing mutually beneficial client relationships. Understanding client and prospect's needs and motivations.
* Recognising buying signals and closing sales.
* In addition to upselling and prospecting for new business, you’ll also be responsible for contract renewals and upgrades within your base.
* Outbound calls and emails to your allocated client base and from your prospecting list.
Requirements:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
* Experience working in a technical, target-driven business development role.
* Experience of meeting clients face-to-face and over the phone, as well as networking events.
* Excellent negotiation skills.
* A head for research and strategy.
* Tenacious can-do attitude.
* Full UK Driving Licence.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday. 9.00am to 5.30pm
Salary: £27,000.00 to £30,000.00 basic £48,000.00 OTE uncapped
