Job Overview:
* To work as part of a small editorial team within the medical communications division. The division as a whole creates and delivers a wide range of projects, serving the needs of both the pharmaceutical company sponsors and the healthcare professional audience. The projects are delivered either in print, in person or online.
* The editorial team works closely with a client services team and commercial staff on a day-to-day basis.
* Acting as a source of internal and external knowledge for therapy areas including diabetes and cardiovascular disease, the ABPI Code of Practice, and the role of bodies such as NICE.
Main Duties:
Content Creation and Quality Assurance
* Create and tailor content for various project materials.
* Edit and review materials for accuracy, style, and alignment with briefs.
* Verify facts, prepare references, and resolve missing claims.
* Liaise with authors/speakers to address queries.
* Assist with concept development and content commissioning.
* Ensure quality standards and resolve copyright issues.
* Manage stakeholder feedback and suggest compromises.
Project and Team Management
* Track, prioritise, and deliver projects on time.
* Provide updates, guidance, and training for team members.
* Review timelines, flag issues, and recommend solutions.
* Drive projects and foster a supportive, motivated team.
* Identify process improvements and training needs.
