This is also a role where you will look after the financial management of the overall Information Services budget for Aegon Asset Management including:
1. Procuring and renewing Market Data services required by the business in the most cost-effective manner.
2. Developing sourcing strategies and category plans.
3. Driving cost savings and efficiency improvements.
4. Ensuring data/service usage and pricing is accurately recorded.
5. Maintaining an audit trail for all contracts and commercial agreements.
6. Ensuring commercial terms are accurately recorded on the Contract Management System.
7. Managing relationships with market data providers, ensuring service quality and adherence to contractual obligations.
8. Conducting regular vendor service reviews including the use of a clear vendor scorecard methodology.

10. Acting as the primary contact across the AAM business for services provided by the vendors within their remit.
11. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand market data needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
12. Identifying initiatives which enhance our Investment Toolkit, then delivering on these - taking on Project Management or SME responsibilities.

* Experience working with legal and commercial aspects of vendor licenses.
* Understanding of financial instruments and international exchanges.
* Positive communication/facilitation skills.

What's in it for you?
* A competitive salary, depending on the experience you can bring.
* A non-contributory pension between 9%-13%.
* A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance.
* 27 days leave per year (plus bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time).
We also offer private medical cover, life assurance, critical illness cover, enhanced parental leave, and a variety of lifestyle benefits to help our staff live their best lives, including retail discount vouchers, cycle2work scheme, subsidised restaurant, and online GP appointments.
We serve a diverse, ever-changing world. It's tough, but we work tirelessly to leave things better than we find them. If that sounds like the sort of place you'd like to work, hit the "Apply" button.

We'll need you to confirm you have the right to work in the UK. If we offer you a job and you accept, there are some checks we need to complete before you can start with us. This will include a credit and criminal record check, as well as providing satisfactory references.
