ABOUT THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES As a Cyber Security Specialist reporting into the Information Security Manager, you’ll be part of our InfoSec team supporting our internal business systems and our SaaS product. You’ll be working with our internal team and our parent company to ensure we are operating to a high standard as well as ensure we continually improve and adapt to the changing landscape of Cyber Security. To succeed in this role, you will: · Understand and enhance technical aspects of the technology business function, wider organisation, and suppliers · Understand secure development practices to prioritise and manage the remediation of vulnerability findings for our SaaS platform · Implement and oversee vulnerability management programs to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks · Be a great communicator who can both change tone and tact depending on who you are speaking to, and so be effective with relationships internally and influence senior stakeholders and teams · Own some cyber security aspects of the ISO27001 Information Security Management System · Manage cyber security compliance with company metrics, policies, standards, and obligations · Deliver cyber security training, awareness, and communication · Host and attend cyber security meetings and workshops internally and with our parent company · Develop and maintain cyber security policies, standards, and procedures · Operate and manage the cyber security assurance tools and technologies as well as the security operations centre · Relish autonomy. We’re currently a small team and being a self-starter who can wear multiple hats is crucial · Be a problem solver - solving problems with new technologies is key JOB REQUIREMENTS · 2 years Experience in a cyber-security role · Working knowledge of technical and cyber security standards · Working knowledge of industry best practices (such as NIST Framework, OWASP top ten, SANS and NCSC Guidance) · Technical knowledge of information systems, infrastructure, and networks · Security monitoring and testing technologies such as vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, SIEM, IDS · Experience with vulnerability management tools and processes (Rapid 7, Wiz etc.) · Experience of operating with and to the ISO27001 standard · Cloud computing cyber security assurance (Azure/Office 365) CORE WORKING HOURS 9am - 5pm, Monday – Friday Hybrid options are available, in our city centre office. 50% split Our Collaboration Days are Wednesday and Thursday with alternate Tuesdays. Participation in an out of hours on-call rota will be required.
