Transport Clerk
HireGiant requires a Transport Clerk for a position with our well-established client in Lea Marston, Birmingham.
The Role:
The Transport Clerk role is on a temporary basis to begin with, with the potential of a full time position.
This role involves administrative duties to support their operations, mainly:
* Processing UK domestic drivers' paperwork
* Dealing with release and PODS
* Liaising instructions between warehouse staff, drivers, and operational staff
* Vehicle and load related data entry
* Processing consignment through the pallet network
Requirements for this role:
The Transport Clerk will require:
* Good problem solving skills
* Strong attention to detail
* A positive attitude
* Good communication skills
* Good telephone manner
Hours & Pay:
The start time is 08:30 and the finish time is 17:30, working 40 hours per week at a rate of £12.50 per hour whilst on a temporary basis.
Profit related pay and company pension/health scheme are available once the qualified period of employment is completed.
