Job Description
Scientist // Gene Therapy Screening & Assay Development // Nanotherapies // Cambridge
Why have you dedicated your research to assay development and screening of gene therapies? Was it to advance next generation therapies for patients suffering from real unmet need?
We are working with a revolutionary Cambridge-based start-up (with large financial backing & partnerships with big pharma) developing polymer nanoparticles for gene therapy drug delivery (including mRNA / siRNA). They are looking for a lab-based Scientist to drive their 'in-vitro' cell & molecular screening and development of gene therapies. Their nanoparticles have a proven capability to cross biological barriers (such as the blood brain barrier) and release genetic payloads on target. Their proprietary technology has the potential to revolutionise gene therapy.
You will undertake vital lab-based work screening their gene therapies and developing a variety of quantitative assays (such as gene expression assays). Your work, scientific development, and personal development will be essential to the start-up as they continue to grow and push for their polymer nanoparticles & gene therapy payloads to enter the clinic. For you this means you will have real opportunities for progression.
Your work will be vital to the development of next-generation gene therapies and very visible to senior leadership.
If you have experience developing and executing lab-based assay development and high-throughput screening for gene therapies and are looking for an opportunity to revolutionise drug delivery while undertaking serious personal & scientific development, apply online here or reach out to
We look forward to hearing from you!
