Job Summary:
The Lot Attendant/Porter at Route 128 Honda in Reading, MA is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dealership's lot and providing excellent customer service to all customers. Responsibilities:
1. Keep the dealership lot clean and tidy, including removing trash, cleaning windows, and organizing inventory.
2. Retrieve and park customer vehicles in designated areas.
3. Assist with vehicle checks and inspections, as needed.
4. Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor.
5. Coordinate with sales and service departments to ensure timely delivery of vehicles to customers.
6. Maintain knowledge of dealership inventory and assist with vehicle location requests.
7. Perform minor maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as changing wiper blades or refilling fluids.
8. Follow all safety regulations and practices.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior experience in the automotive industry is preferred, but not required.
3. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
4. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
5. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
6. Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
7. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
