Driver/Roadworker 2
37 hours per week

£29,326 - £29,924 / £15.20 - £15.51 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)
We are looking for a Driver/Roadworker to join our Roads and Grounds Operations Team.
You will be a member of a service carrying out a variety of roads and municipal related activities including emergency callout and Winter Service activities.
You will be required to work either individually or as part of a team to ensure the efficient operation of the service.
You must have a positive approach to health and safety and will require a flexible attitude to work with a willingness to undertake a variety of duties associated with roads maintenance and waste services. Training in the use of specialist equipment will be given.
You will be required to participate in a standby rota for which appropriate overtime and standby payments will be made.
A full Class C driving licence is essential and a Driver CPC is desirable for this post.
An SVQ2 in a Construction, engineering or related subject or a HAUC (Streetworks) Operatives qualification is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
This post requires Basic Disclosure Scotland Clearance.
