We’re looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant with relevant experience to support pupils with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder). In the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Working closely with teachers and school leadership, you will take on a diverse range of responsibilities, including delivering lessons, providing targeted support to students, and contributing to the overall development of a positive and inclusive learning environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant to take on additional responsibilities and make a significant impact on the educational experience of our students. The School is a Special Academy for students with complex, low incidence special educational needs. They are a well-established and very experienced local provider of quality specialised education provision and cater for young people with complex conditions. The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will: Have a passion to teach outside of a mainstream environment, and a commitment to experience the unique opportunities of a special school Have a kind, caring, and compassionate nature which is used to plan and deliver inclusive, fun, and inspiring lessons Have experience with pupils with ASD Have proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, with a demonstrated ability to lead lessons and support diverse learning needs.
