About the Role
As a Conveyancing Assistant, you'll take on a diverse range of responsibilities that are key to the conveyancing process. Your role will involve:
* Opening files and assisting with administrative tasks to support the smooth progression of cases
* Drafting sales contracts and preparing mortgage offer reports
* Obtaining office copies from the Land Registry and requesting property searches
* Managing post-completion work and closing files efficiently
* Providing valuable support to clients and the conveyancing team, especially during the absence of a fee earner
Your previous conveyancing experience will be essential in providing high-quality support and ensuring the best client outcomes.
About You
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
* Proven experience in conveyancing, with a solid understanding of the conveyancing process
* Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
* Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* A proactive, client-focused attitude, with the confidence to handle client calls and assist the team as needed
