Technical Editor/Technical Writer

Seeking a Technical Editor/Technical Writer to be part of our team supporting our customer on Marine Corps Base Quantico in Stafford, VA. The position is responsible for working with the Government client and associated team members to ensure all products are in accordance with required directives and policies and of the highest quality. Specific duties include:
* Conduct quality reviews to ensure documents are formatted and completed in accordance with templates, policy, style guides or other controlling guidance.
* Create, edit, and review technical materials and program documents, to include Letters, Memorandums, and Meeting Minutes.
* Develop correspondence IAW the Naval Correspondence Manual.
* Conduct format reviews and editing of equipment manuals, appendices, operating and maintenance instructions, etc. to ensure format compliance and readability.
* Other related duties as directed as part of the larger team services.
* Ensure proper use of grammar and punctuation.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree and 1-3 years relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted for the degree.
* Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team of Government and non-Government personnel.
* Demonstrated experience with word processing and presentations is required.
* Proficient in MS Word, Power Point, and Adobe.
* Eligible for DoD SECRET clearance is required; Active DoD SECRET clearance preferred.
* MARCORSYSCOM experience is desired.
Salary $65K - $85K
This position is contingent on winning award.
