A leading UK law firm with offices located throughout the country, are looking for a Securitisation paralegal in their Leeds office. The role is permanent, and will involve supporting fee earners across the Property Securitisation department.
Specific duties will include:
1. Identifying titles
2. Obtaining official copy entries and office copy documents from the Land registry
3. Undertaking title checks and other property due diligence
4. Carrying out searches
5. Obtaining items from Local Authorities and other third parties
6. Chasing for outstanding items
7. Carrying out pre-completion Land Registry searches
8. Dealing with post-completion matters
Our client is looking for candidates with conveyancing experience, who are able to manage their own caseload and possess good drafting and research skills. Ideally, candidates will have achieved a 2.1 degree in Law or conversion. They must have exemplary IT skills, strong analytical skills, an excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage their own caseload, and work independently with minimal supervision in a calm, efficient and timely manner.
Although hybrid working is offered (after initial training), it is essential that applicants can easily commute to Leeds.
