The Role:
* Dealing with all customers in a professional, prompt and courteous manner, portraying a positive first impression of the Service Department.
* Advising on technical queries/issues.
* Booking vehicles into the department for work to be carried out, informing customers of the progress of their vehicle.
* Sell customer repairs/parts etc., and finalising the invoice on completion.
* To serve and issue stock to both internal & external customers ensuring the parts department standards are met.
* To receive, correctly identify and warehouse incoming stock and to advise management if stock is low.
* Ensuring best practice housekeeping standards are maintained for both stores and retail section of the Parts Department.
* Ensuring promotions and practices produced by Parts Management are promoted when speaking to customers.
* To participate in the annual formal stock check.
The Training:
Qualification: Level 2 Customer Service
Apprentices receive their off-the-job training at the state-of-the-art Manufacturer's Training Centre. This guarantees consistent training across the UK and enables our apprentices to study the most up-to-date products and technology. During the course, the training is conducted in both workshops and classroom settings.
Applicants must possess the following:
* GCSEs grades 4 or above in English, Maths and two other subjects (or equivalent qualifications)
* Team player
* Dependable and punctual
* Ability to operate well under pressure
