At DWF we’re seeking a dynamic, results-driven supervisor to steer our Bank Reconciliation team and drive excellence in cash and bank management. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an accomplished professional to shape and enhance our bank reconciliation processes, contributing directly to achieving business goals and ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.
This role will be based from our Manchester office two days per week, the team typically do Tuesday & Thursday then the other three days are done remotely.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the cash and bank team, supporting team leaders to achieve monthly KPIs and targets. You’ll be responsible for providing monthly reconciliation data for COFA and external client reports, while maintaining and enhancing processes in alignment with team strategy. By identifying and escalating roadblocks to management, you’ll help ensure the team prioritises effectively to meet portfolio targets. You’ll also take an active role in training, motivating, and developing team members, enhancing their expertise in system and operational processes, and addressing any performance issues alongside team leaders. Regular one-on-one sessions with team members will provide ongoing support, ensuring high performance and accuracy in postings and match rates.
Additionally, you will take ownership of reporting tasks specific to both the business and the cash and bank team. Your problem-solving skills and innovative thinking will be instrumental in streamlining processes and delivering high-quality service. When needed, you will step in for bank reconciliation team leaders and may travel to other locations to support broader business needs and strengthen collaboration across teams.

Essential
* Proven experience with bank reconciliations in a fast-paced environment
* Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately
* Demonstrated success in managing multiple tasks and priorities in a high-pressure environment
* Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, building considerable, long-term relationships across all levels
* Ability to manage time effectively, consistently meeting deadlines and targets
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups & Pivot Tables)
Desirable
* Experience driving business solutions through influence and cross-functional collaboration
* Adaptability and a change-oriented approach to the role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach
* Familiarity with enhancing processes to deliver high-quality outputs
