Job Description
The Responsibility:
1. Represent Everlast Gyms as an ambassador for fitness
2. Demonstrate our elevated ways of working always
3. Driving all revenue lines from membership sales to product & secondary, to drive profitability
4. Effective management of controllable costs like stock orders & cleaning supplies to eliminate wastage and overspend
5. Lead by example on reception and the gym floor in this member facing role designed to enhance every visit
6. Ensure central processes like STRIVE & MOVE are followed & delivered to the highest level consistently
7. Drive collective buy-in to national focuses & incentives like #WORKOUTWEDNESDAY & #WeCommunicate
8. Lead the recruiting, monitoring, training and onboarding of new team members within your gym
9. Ensure that all daily, weekly & monthly operational processes are completed consistently and to a high standard using our in-house systems
10. Willing and able to deliver honest, constructive feedback regularly to support all team members in achieving their potential and challenging them on a daily basis
11. Reporting facilities & maintenance related issues in accordance with best practice guidelines
12. Manage club rotas based on budgets, ensuring fully trained team members are always onsite
13. Be resilient and agile to react to challenging situations and find solutions
14. Able to effectively manage all policies and procedures including Health & Safety, inclusive of pool plant operations
15. Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times whether on-shift or not two members of staff are working at the same time.
Qualifications
Need to have:
16. Passion for health, fitness and wellness
17. Level 2 qualification in fitness (desirable)
18. 1+ year previous management role experience within the fitness industry
19. Strong leadership qualities
20. Adaptability in communication and management style depending on the team member and their drivers
21. A positive, solutions driven mindset in the face of adversity
22. A member champion mentality with exceptional interpersonal skills
23. Driven and ambitious with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviours and competencies specific to the role
24. Flexibility in working hours and location to support the needs of the business including weekends and Bank Holidays when required
