This role is accountable for the local product portfolio in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, ensuring that it continues to meet the needs of its target customers, and is commercially successful. You will own and implement the local product/proposition strategy; driving improved performance and growth through the development of new/amended local products, and effective management of the local product portfolio. How youll help us make health happen: • Accountable for defining, developing and implementing the local product and proposition strategy in a specific region, over the short, medium and longer-term • Be the leader for the local product portfolio throughout the business, working with key teams and stakeholders to drive improved performance and growth across a range of key commercial and customer metrics • Development of new or amended products to meet identified needs amongst defined target customers in a specific region, delivering commercial growth • Work with key stakeholders to define and develop the local customer proposition; ensuring it reflects our key strengths and USPs relative to the market • Lead regular analysis, reporting and reviews of local product performance, to ensure they remain competitive, fit for purpose, and meet customer needs; continuously identifying areas for improvement, and working collaboratively to deliver any recommended changes • Identify opportunities to rationalise and/or migrate local products, to create increased customer simplification and improved commercial performance • Work with relevant local teams to identify new and emerging regulation that impacts the product portfolio; collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver any necessary changes; ensuring that our local products remain compliant Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: • Business experience, which should include managing a varied product portfolio in a range of global markets, to deliver improved commercial performance and customer metrics • Experience of developing product strategy and setting overall business direction; and then leading virtual teams to successful multi-channel delivery and implementation of that strategy • Strong interpersonal skills with a challenging and persuasive manner, to win and maintain the respect of colleagues across the business at all levels • Clear communication and presentation skills, experienced at using storytelling to influence, and gain support from, key stakeholders across the business • Strong analytical, numerical and commercial skills • Specific experience in healthcare, access, or value-add products • Awareness and understanding of PMI/IPMI products and the PMI/IPMI market • Experience of operating in a regulated market, or in broader consumer Financial Services Benefits Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
