Role Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of SME clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services
* Preparing and reviewing audit plans, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with regulations
* Overseeing the audit process, delivering management reports and recommendations to clients
* Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to provide added value
* Delegating workflow, reviewing work, and providing mentorship and training to junior members of the team
* Briefing staff on ongoing business, conducting appraisals, and supporting staff development
* Reporting to key stakeholders on audit findings and business insights
* Assisting with new client tenders to support the firm’s growth

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will:
* Be ACA or ACCA qualified with strong audit experience in practice
* Have experience managing a portfolio of clients and delivering audits to a high standard
* Demonstrate leadership skills, with experience mentoring and training junior staff
* Have excellent technical knowledge of audit and assurance standards
* Be a proactive and confident communicator, able to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
* Possess strong organisational skills, ensuring audits are completed on time and within budget
