As a General Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Assist keeping the kitchen and dining rooms clean & tidy, to include sweeping, mopping, and washing up. Food service and preparation knowledge and experience. To serve meals and refreshments in line with the schools’ requirements To be aware of the special dietary needs You will work collaboratively with managers and supervisors to ensure the first-class delivery of food in school kitchens. And any other duties commensurate with the post Willing to take training as required and necessary, to include Mandatory IT training through I learn annually Previous kitchen experience is Essential to this role. About You; Essential: Food Safety Level 2 certificate in date Allergy Awareness Certificate in date Experience in a catering environment Good verbal and written communication skills Good people skills Passion about food and customer service Dedicated team player mindful of observing safeguarding and professional standards. High standards and quality drive A ‘can do’ attitude. Display a smart professional appearance representing CityServe in a positive manner.
