Head of Corporate Services
London or Manchester (hybrid working model, 2 days week in the office, 3 days remote)

Fantastic opportunity to secure the Head of Corporate Services permanent role with Smart DCC. The Head of Corporate Services will be part of the Procurement transformation, DCC is creating a Procurement team that is split by category (Technology and Corporate Services), who are individually responsible for Category Management and Sourcing of their respective areas. The role reports into the Director of Procurement and will form part of the Procurement Leadership team.
What will you be doing?
1. Working with C-Suite executives within and outside DCC to set and implement sourcing and procurement strategies for all Corporate Services 3rd party spend.
2. Providing thought leadership on sourcing models to meet the different needs of the business – from catalogue and auctions through to complex multi-year transformational Procurement activity.
3. Accountable for the development of all Corporate Services (Professional Services, FM, Marketing, Logistics, Outsourcing) related category strategies that are fully aligned with the business to maximise value for money.
4. Leadership and development of a Corporate Services Procurement team of 8, and transformation to being an outstanding team.
5. Understanding of regulated and a non-regulated procurement environments, ideally with reference to secure and critical national industries.
6. Negotiation of supplier contracts, incorporating key commercial and contractual requirements.
7. Being an ambassador for the commercial capability of DCC.
What are we looking for?
1. Significant Sourcing experience with a demonstrable track record of savings delivery with significant Category Management experience, namely in the Corporate Services domain.
2. Strong research and analytical capabilities, in particular supply market research, spend analysis, business requirements analysis and bidder response evaluation.
3. Proven level of negotiation and dispute resolution skill set, able to navigate and influence in complex, secure and regulated environment, to drive change.
4. Experience with cross-functional collaborative working methods.
5. Solution driven, innovator, focusing on total cost and value creation.
6. Excellent, proven level of line management experience focusing on People development.
7. Being a dynamic, forward-thinking self-starter, who can drive performance and best-practice procurement within a changing and evolving environment.
