We are looking for a Bookings Administrator in our Derby Hospital who will be responsible for administering a large volume of email requests from referrals to appointments, ensuring the hospital meets its service deliverables whilst exceeding customer expectations. Preferably, you will hold an NVQ level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent and have experience of working in a customer-facing environment, to help us build a healthier nation.
As our Bookings Administrator, you will:
* Bring empathy, sympathy, and sensitivity to the role.
* Ensure complex administration and support meet the required standards and timescales.
* Have attention to detail ensuring all data/information is accurate using the appropriate system and format.
* Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports as required by the department.
* Handle appointment bookings and changes.
* Co-ordinate the availability of rooms and consultants.
* Create, alter, or cancel clinics as required to support business needs.
