Role in summary
As Senior Account Manager you will lead the delivery of creative projects and campaigns for a household name client in the drinks sector. Working as part of an established Client Services department, your role will primarily focus on the successful delivery of briefs across shopper marketing and experiential.
What you’ll be doing:
* Building and nurturing strong, effective relationships with your clients, getting in front of them and under the skin of what they need, becoming the first person they call with an opportunity and being trusted to then deliver with impact.
* Cultivating effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across Creative and Design ensuring the creative solution meets the client briefs.
* Reviewing the delivery of projects with a view to delivering future efficiencies whilst ensuring all work is delivered with the highest of standards and surpasses the client’s expectations.
* Contributing to your client’s annual brand planning process with strategic thinking and knowledge of your client and the markets in which they operate.
* Identifying gaps where ZEAL can develop avenues to expand contribution, either through new services or access to new categories and proactively seeking ways to optimize new sources of revenue.
* Being accountable for the financial success of your accounts utilising the support around you to manage the day-to-day financial systems.
* Coaching and mentoring more junior members of the team, providing constructive, strength-based feedback to build confidence and skills whilst supporting the effective management of their workload.
What you’ll bring to the role:
* Proven experience as an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager in an advertising agency, working with multiple brands.
* A background working with clients in the FMCG sector, ideally with exposure to or experience in delivering shopper marketing campaigns.
* The ability to effectively manage complex accounts with project budgets in excess of £800,000.
* A passion for building established relationships both with clients and internal teams.
* The skill set of a project manager.
