Do you have experience using Sage 50 and working in a busy small team where you are very hands-on and dealing with the transactional side of finance as well as the monthly management accounts and reporting for the senior leadership team?
We are looking for someone to start a short-term temporary contract for around 3 months in Scarborough, working for a well-established charity and managing their day-to-day accounts.
What the Accountant / Bookkeeper job involves
* General bookkeeping
* Managing the Profit & Loss
* Cashflow forecasting
* Pre-payments and Accruals
* Preparing the monthly Management Accounts
* Reporting for the Senior leadership team
* Monthly Payroll
Skills required
* Previous use of Sage 50 is essential
* Charity experience is desirable, but not essential
* A good all-round accounting background as you will be in a standalone position

* Full time 37.5 hours a week
* Up to 3 months temporary contract
* Possible hybrid working once you are established within the role
