This is real experience that will set you apart We are looking for a skilled and experienced actor to guide the production and animations team to deliver authentic, age-appropriate actions for a children’s show and building an educational character (an actor who can portray a child’s racoon educational character). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of expressions, acting techniques, a passion for working with kids and animators, and the ability to teach behaviors, actions, and expressions suited to specific poses and scenes. This role requires patience, creativity, and the ability to create a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: For TV Show Assist in Production of TV Show Series Acting Instruction: Teach and demonstrate acting techniques to help child actors portray emotions, behaviors, and actions effectively for the specific needs of the show. On-Scene: Work closely with child actors to rehearse scenes, ensuring they understand the context, emotions, and required physical actions. Behavior Modeling: Lead by example, showing child actors how to perform actions authentically while maintaining a child-friendly and professional demeanor. Character Development: Assist child actors in understanding their characters’ motivations, personalities, and relationships within the story. Problem Solving: Address performance challenges, such as nervousness, lack of focus, or difficulty interpreting scenes, with patience and tailored guidance. Encourage Confidence: Build rapport with young performers to help them feel comfortable and confident on set, fostering a fun and engaging atmosphere. Support: Provide coaching during shoots to ensure performances are consistent and meet the creative expectations of the production. For Character Development: Assist animators for character development Character Building: Assist animators with the portrayal of the character specifically able to act out and create facial expressions for animators referencing. Problem Solving: Collaborate with animators to provide efficient and effective suggestions with regards to character portrayal. Support: Explore on various creative ways to execute different actions and expressions to achieve accurate animation production. For both: Communication with Production and Animations Team: Collaborate with directors, writers, animators, and producers to align the character’s performances with the creative vision. Adaptation for Children: Use age-appropriate verbal and body language and techniques to communicate effectively with child actors and adapt methods to suit their developmental stages. Qualifications and Skills: Proven understanding of acting, particularly in TV, theater, or film, with a focus on children's content preferred. Good to have: Experience coaching or mentoring child actors in a professional or educational setting. Strong knowledge of acting techniques, including voice modulation, body language, and emotional expression. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with young performers and their parents. Patience, empathy, and a passion for nurturing young talent. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of creative professionals. Familiarity with the unique challenges of working on a set with children, including maintaining focus and motivation. Additional Requirements: Experience with child psychology or education is a plus but not required. Flexibility to work on set and adapt to the production schedule, including rehearsals and shooting days. A clear background check is required due to the nature of working with minors.
