Health and safety officer Summerfield House, Kidderminster (Hybrid working, WFH up to 2 days per week) £35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits, depending on experience Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm Eco2Solar are pleased to announce a new and exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the UKs leading Solar PV Installation Company in the New Build Housing sector (who were recently invested in by EON) as a Health and Safety Officer, based in our Kidderminster office. About the role As a business we pride ourselves on striving for excellence and continuous improvement, and the Health and Safety Officer’s mission will use their experience to take ownership of and establish, monitor and manage systems and processes to promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the Company and its partners. The H&S Officer will be responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are reviewed and relevant, they are communicated and adhered to. Fundamentally the key objective of the role is to ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting. Having the ability to work both as part of a team and also take overall responsibility for your personal workload, whilst delivering excellent levels of service is essential. A desire to put our clients’ needs first and a thirst to develop your own skills is a key part of fitting into this established team. About you To be successful in this role you’ll have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of health and safety law, and specifically experience of health and safety in construction. You’ll have strong IT skills, NEBOSH GC or similar, SSMTS or IOSH is desirable. You will thrive on looking for better ways of doing things and challenging the norm, and always supporting the business to succeed.
