We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join our large, friendly, multi-disciplinary Audiology team.
The post-holder will participate in both the assessment and rehabilitation of adults with hearing difficulties and should have a thorough understanding of patient management systems and hearing aid technology. The department provides a comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative service to the population of Bradford and surrounding areas as well as supporting ENT clinic both at base within Bradford Royal Infirmary and at out-reach centres.
The department operates extended working hours enabling staff to work a 4 day week.
Main duties of the job
The Audiologist will autonomously undertake all routine audiological and rehabilitation procedures, including direct referrals for hearing aids and open access referrals from GPs, within outpatient, community and domiciliary environments. They will supervise assistant practitioners and junior members of staff, and assist with the clinical supervision of BSc students.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* BSc Audiology or equivalent, ie. BAAT I and II with BTEC Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement, or working towards attaining BSc in Audiology
* RCCP/AHCS/HPCP Registration or pending
* Member of BSA/BAA
* Hold a full driving licence and has access to a car
* Sign Language Skills/Qualification
Experience
* Working with the public
* Working as a Band 4 or Band 5 Audiologist
* Working in a team
Skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge
* Knowledge of hearing aid technology
Other Requirements
* Able to drive/travel across sites in a timely manner
