Bury Council are looking for a Casual Support Assistant BEST to join their Service Care Team, which is a supported employment service for young people and adults to help find employment. What are your responsibilities? There is one shift pattern 9.30 to 15.30pm Monday to Friday You will be based at Lodge house, Manchester Road Park,157 Manchester Road, within Bury. They are a Supported employment service - young people and adults to help find employment and generally work on enhancing work life skills - independent living skills, reaching potential, paid employment on the future. It can be on a 1 to 1 basis or small group You could be working in community cafe, bowling greens, horticulture - outdoor work What skills do you Need? Must have recent experience of working as a Casual Support Assistant BEST, Young Adult / Adult Support Worker, or Family Support Worker Must be physically fit and healthy, as you may have to assist service users. Excellent people skills, as you will be speaking to the public, other members of staff and managers.
